Chatruletka

Chatruletka is a random video call app that allows you to connect with people from different parts of the world and have conversations over video. Simply start the chat, after which the service will select another user at random and establish a connection. You will also be able to chat via text when you can't use the microphone or don't want to.

Meet random people

Chatruletka is perfect for anyone who wants to meet new people without having to search for other users on their own. After pressing the start button, the app will connect you with a randomly selected person via video call, allowing you to start a conversation right away. If you don't find the conversation interesting or simply want to meet someone else, you can press the "next" button to change your conversation partner. This service places a special emphasis on Russian-speaking users, making it especially interesting for those who want to communicate in Russian or meet people who speak this language.

Talk via video or text

Most communication takes place via video calls, although you will also have the option to use the text chat available next to the video window. This is very useful if you have any trouble with your microphone or prefer to type during the conversation. Furthermore, the video window can be moved and adjusted to different sizes, and you can even change its orientation by rotating your smartphone.

The best and worst of Chatruletka

• What I like most is how easy it is to start random conversations and switch between conversation partners quickly.

• What I like least is that the quality of the experience depends a lot on who you happen to be matched with.
